Virat Kohli Leads Six Indian Players in ICC Champions Trophy ‘Team of the Tournament’
Virat Kohli, the iconic Indian cricketer, headlines the six Indian players selected for the ICC’s prestigious ‘Team of the Tournament’ following the 2025 Champions Trophy. India triumphed in the final, defeating New Zealand by four wickets to claim their third Champions Trophy title, after previous wins in 2002 (joint winners) and 2013. The team has also been runners-up in 2000 and 2017.
In addition to Kohli, five other Indian players made the cut: Shreyas Iyer, wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul, mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy, and pacer Mohammed Shami. All-rounder Axar Patel was named as the 12th man.
